Steve was born in Sylacauga, Alabama in 1948. After getting his degree in Business Administration from Jacksonville State University in 1970, Steve worked for Avondale Mills in Sylacauga, Alabama in Computer Operations. In 1978 Steve moved to Birmingham, where he now lives and works as Assistant Manager of Information Services at American Cast Iron Pipe Company. Art has always been a part of Steve’s life so most of his spare time is spent painting. However, there is the occasional fly fishing trip to Montana and Wyoming. When he is not painting, Steve reads widely and golfs with a group of long-time friends.
