“Growing up in a small community in south Montgomery County has very much influenced my perception of life and the subject matter of my paintings”.

Sandra paints scenes from what she says was an idyllic life growing up in rural Alabama. "It was a world without deadlines," she recalls, "where you could sit on a hill eating vanilla wafers and be cradled by the beauty around you."
